SEASON OVERVIEW:
A With Hannibal, Bryan Fuller, the creator of Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies, enters the police procedural field to tell the story of an alienated individual with a taste for human flesh. FBI Special Agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy, Daniel Deronda, The Big C) is capable of empathizing with anyone… even psychopaths. Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: NY), head of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, assigns him the mission to find a serial killer who murders women by impaling them on deer antlers. This time, Will Graham’s habit of getting in “too deep” while investigating crimes lands him in a mess. To keep him in the field, his boss partners him up with Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen, Unit 1, Julie), one of the best psychiatrists in the country. What will come of this bizarre partnership? That remains to be seen…
