SEASON OVERVIEW:
Privileged, nymphy, libertine… Vivian Bowers used to paint the town red. When she is found dead of a possible drug overdose, no one is really surprised. However, FBI agent Will Moreno (Laz Alonso, Entourage, Bones) senses that something’s not quite right in the midst of this dubious dynasty. Convinced that Vivian Bowers’ death was a homicide, he enlists the help of detective Joanna Locasto (Meagan Good, House, Californication) to get to the truth.
Twenty years ago, Joanna was Vivian’s best friend. The two practically grew up together. Thus and so, when Joanna appears at Vivian’s funeral, the whole family welcomes her with open arms. After going undercover into the sumptuous lifestyle she thought she’d left behind, Joanna becomes privy to a wealth of dark secrets and clues about why Vivian’s life was in danger and learns that none of the family members are what they appear to be.
Meet Robert (Victor Garber, Ugly Betty, Damages), Vivian’s loving but philandering father and CEO of Bowers Pharmaceuticals, Sophia (Katherine LaNasa, Two and a Half Men, Justified), Vivan’s cold stepmother, Edward (Tate Donovan, Gossip Girl, Glee), the eldest son of the Bowers clan, Julian (Wes Brown, True Blood, Private Practice), the sexy, hedonistic playboy of the family and Joanna’s first love, Mia (Ella Rae Peck, Without a Trace, The Good Wife), Robert and Sophia’s daughter who seems to be following in Vivian’s bad girl footsteps!
