SEASON OVERVIEW:
In 2077-era, Vancouver is a land flowing with milk and honey. The oligarchic dystopia of the North American “Corporate Congress” keeps a close watch on the civilians and makes sure that everything runs smoothly. Still, when the group of fanatic terrorists known as “Liber8″ escape execution by fleeing to the year 2012, the quiet and normal life of City Protective Services (CPS) law enforcement officer Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols, Alias, Criminal Minds) is turned upside down. Involuntarily transported with them into the past, she joins forces with Detective Carlos Fonnegra (Victor Webster, Charmed, White Collar) and the young computer genius Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen, Jericho, Saving Hope) to track down Edouard Kagame (Tony Amendola, Dexter, Once Upon a Time) and his followers. Kiera Cameron conceals her identity as a time traveler from the future by posing as a member of an elite government counter terrorism group called Section 6.
Among the players who give the trio a hard time rank Matthew Kellog (Stephen Lobo, Painkiller Jane, Smallville), a deserter from Liber8 who dreams of building a new and wealthy life for himself in the past, Travis Verta (Roger Cross, 24, Eureka), a warrior specifically trained and enhanced through futuristic science to be a lethal killing machine and Kagame’s right-hand man in Liber8, Sonya Valentine (Lexa Doig, Supernatural, V), the architect of the super soldier program, Lucas Ingram (Omari Newton, Fringe, Shattered), a former engineer at SadTech who defected to Liber8, and Jasmine Garza (Luvia Petersen, Reaper, Sanctuary), a soldier in Liber8. The one who may be responsible for the presence of both Kiera Cameron and Liber8 in 2012 is Alec Sadler (William B. Davis, Andromeda, Stargate SG-1), the owner and CEO of SadTech, one of the largest corporations that dominate the North American Union.
