SEASON OVERVIEW:
In recent years, teen series sprang up like mushrooms. Still, MTV’s Tuesday night dramedy show truthfully captures the chaos, conflict and humour within the experiences and struggles that define the adolescence.
All these are seen through the eyes of Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards, Ugly Betty, One Tree Hill), a 15-year-old girl whose life begins to change when a banal accident becomes an epic misunderstanding.
As if things weren’t baffling enough, she lost both her heart and her virginity to Matty McKibben (Beau Mirchoff, Desperate Housewives, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), an athletic, charming and popular youngster who wants to keep their relationship under lock and key. As the series progresses, Jenna begins to have it for Jake Rosati (Brett Davern, Medium, NCIS), the jovial and smart class president and Matty’s best friend.
